First campaign, first award!
Hooray! We won ‘Best use of Research/Evaluation’ for our ‘How Many Times’ campaign at the Comms2point0 annual communications awards in Birmingham.
How Many Times is an ongoing campaign to inform people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland about the help available and signs of domestic and sexual abuse to look out for so everyone can play a part in helping victims get help sooner.
The campaign couldn’t have happened in the way it did without the input of others. Research underpinned everything we did. And of course this all bore fruits which became apparent when we did the evaluation.
So this award is shared with:
- The wonderful people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland who spoke to us so frankly and courageously about their experiences of sexual and domestic violence.
- The Campaign Company, who undertook some of the great research for us.
- Animal Track Productions film company and Lambeth Council’s superb in-house design team who interpreted the campaign ideas visually.
- Our clients and local partners who made it happen.
You can follow the campaign on Twitter @_HowManyTimes and if you know people in the area, please let them know about the helpline and ways they can support.
These lovely awards, or rather unawards, may down play the giltz, but the names and quality of the shortlisted campaigns it attracts are as high as any, so we were delighted to be shortlisted for ‘Best Small Team’ too, and to see Lambeth Council’s team shortlisted for the ‘Best Comms/Digital Team’. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees! Thank you Comms2point0 for putting on the great event. Maybe see you next year!
